The Smart Packer

With the airline looking for additional revenues arising out of  extra baggage charges  , it is imperative that you pack smart and carry  things which are absolutely essential and will not weigh you down .There s no bliss like travelling light.So have a look at this smart packing list and dont give the airlines a chance to charge you more

Gadgets  :   If you plan to use your electronic gadgets during your travels then we suggest you invest in a multi-pin universal  adapter . Don’t forget to carry the chargers and a power bank

 Toiletries :    Carry small bottles of body wash, shampoo, sunscreens ,  creams etc. At the end of your vacation you can discard the bottles and if you have more days of vacation left , buy more locally •  

Clothes : Don’t be overzealous and pack a lot of clothes. Carry clothes which dry off quickly and need no ironing  Carry light clothes. Avoid jeans – they are heavy, bulky, take too much space and takes long to dry •    Carry 4 shirts and 3 bottoms. You have 12 dresses if you mix and match •Carry full sleeves tops to ward off insect bites.For cold places , layer up your clothing and carry a wind proof , water proof jacket . •    Rolling your clothes tightly before arranging them in your travel bag gives lot more space than otherwise 

Accessories  : Don’t forget to pack sunglasses and a wide rim hat to protect you from the Sun. Pack necklaces and bracelets which are not heavy and will match with most outfits. Keep your ear loops  in  button holes so that you can stack pairs without loosing them

Books  : Books tend to be rather heavy .Kindle can be quite handy if you want to read or refer to Lonely Planet kind books on the go

Medicines : Take a broad spectrum Antibiotic  after consulting your GP .Keep painkillers , anti allergic , anti inflammatory , anti septic , anti acidic and anti pyretic medicines besides  bandaid and  crepe bandage 

And last but not the least , choose a sturdy and friendly travel gear which has four wheels and can be carried easily
